Why I Created Costa Rican Harry

Harry wants to help others avoid some of the difficulties he went through, and make more informed decisions when buying a vehicle in a different country.

04

Why I’m Doing This Now

He’s retired, built his home and established a life in Costa Rica. Now he wants to stay active, meet good people, solve problems and enjoy helping others.

And no, he doesn’t plan to spend all his time under a palm tree drinking Imperials.

More than a car connection

You don’t have to figure everything out alone.

Buying a car in a new country has a few extra hurdles. Get experienced guidance as you explore your options.

01

Unfamiliar pricing

Without local reference points, it’s hard to tell what a fair price looks like.

02

Paperwork and process

Documents, registration and steps can differ from what you’re used to.

03

Language and disclosures

Details can get lost in translation, and knowing what to ask matters.

Straight talk

What to expect, and what to keep in mind.

My Approach

Harry has partnered with a local vehicle provider, with the goal of presenting clean vehicles with available inspection information and proper disclosures.

How I Get Paid

The customer doesn’t pay Harry directly. The dealer pays him a flat fee, so feel free to ask him anything about it.

A good car. A fair deal.
No unnecessary headaches.

Let’s talk about your next car. No pressure, just a conversation with someone who’s been through it.
